I was invited by artist Olivia O’Dwyer to exhibit with an amazing group of contemporary Irish artists, during the Opera Festival; our exhibition was called Artists 7 and was held at the Bullring Mall
Artists 7
“Song of the Blackthorn” is a free standing aluminium sculpture, inspired by the rural countryside of North Pembrokeshire, Wales and now has a permanent home with a lovely family in Wexford, Ireland. Here is the pictorial story of the making of this piece.
I had a fabulous time with the contemporary artists know as ‘7Artists’, here’s my Artist journal movie clip.
Special “thank-you’s” to Steve Hedgerow and Bri & Ma, from Pembroke Dock, for your kind support by ensuring my van, as well as myself and my sculpture, reached its destination. A big bear hug to John Holden for his assistance across the Irish Sea. Also thank you to Steph, Jake, Mand & Bevvy who took care of my dog, Handsome Harry, while I was away.
