The original inspiration for this enchanting piece came off a special plate belonging to my late Mothers best dinner set. You knew it was a special day when these where on the table & I remember thinking as a child how beautiful they were. I have the last two side plates from this precious set & I wanted to bring the design to life in shining aluminium.

I created this mold pattern by using a raised texture & this was an interesting development for me, inspiring lots of recent ideas.

Each edition, although created from the same open mold has it’s own unique personality. The sand cast is quickly filled with molten liquid aluminium by hand, ladle by ladle so no two edition sculptures can be identical.

This edition is a little daintier as the top branch on this 4/22 edition has a shorter reach.

Sturdy fasteners are fixed to the back of the piece for easy installation. Also comes complete with an individual hanging template for easy wall positioning.

The sculpture is lovingly hand polished, protected by Sharkhide Metal protector & has a deep shine. Will only need the occasional dusting with a dry cloth.
